Default How would this sound???

Ive got LTs, ory, and LM exhaust, and no cats. Im putting a new set of LTs and ory on but Im keeping the LM. I bought a bullet muffler from JEGS and Ima throw that on there too. How do you guys think that will sound? Will it take care of some of the rasp? I just dont want it to sound shitty. Oh and nobody tell me to throw out the LM because I happen to like it(I know you all are going to say it anyway ). Whatdoyathink?

You will lose some of the rasp, but it will most likely still be semi-present under certain RPM ranges.

Oh yes I definately get noticed. I got pulled over for street racing the other day just cause I was loud. I wasnt going over 25 mph and didnt exceed a distance of 100 ft. It was quite hilarious actually. The cop ended up letting me go. Its a good thing because he would have looked rediculous in court charging someone with racing who didnt exceed 25 mph.

Change out the loudmouth resonator with something else. I put the borla one on and the interior drone is gone!! It's actually quieter inside the car now as opposed to when it just had the loudmouth on there. Outside though is a different story

i think you're better off running cats than a bullet. the cats will cut down on rasp more than a bullet and get rid of exhaust fumes too. those new metallic bullet-style cats would pose little more restriction than a bullet in the I-pipe and help your situation more. at least that's what i'd do. you'd still be loud as hell, too.

Yeah I listened to some soundclips and it actually sounds nice and clean...at least much cleaner than just plain LM

Being harassed by cops... good reason not to do it.

I have gotten two tickets for noise this year without the Cats. So now I get to pay to have them reinstalled.
