Default Dynomax ultraflo ss muffler

Tried the search but didn't find a whole lot, I am pretty set on the 2.5 straight through design but I just wanted to get opinions on sound, car response, etc. There hasn't been a whole lot of talk on them but FWIW they will be going on a TD catted xpipe setup on stock manifolds for now.

Don't know much about them because I never really had an interest in Dynomax products until I found out that they had stainless steel mufflers as well. If it's stainless and straight-through, I wouldn't forsee much of a problem with it as far as quality goes. Their tone tends to be somewhat mellow and smooth from what I've heard on buddies' cars.

If you look through the muffler is looks very similar to how a magnaflow would look. Like a pipe w/ thousands of hole drilled out of it. It does have a deeper tone than stock w/ just being a little bit louder. It sounds better out side the car than inside the car. When I put it on, it seemed to lose backpressure and made the car feel slower starting but it made it faster in the upper end.

I like mine. Deep and mellow a idle. Loud at WOT. No drone.

Of course with headers, then heads/cam everything got louder. But, still not unbearable for a daily driver.

I still can talk on the cell phone no problem in the car.
