would a cat from 2001 TA fit a 2000 TA? Would a factory catalytic converter off a 2001 WS6 fit a 2000 Trans Am? Is there anything special that needs to be done? Thanks

'00-'02 use the same exhaust configuration.
Nothing special involved. But be prepared to break a stud somewhere, likely on the manifold to cat connection flange. If you have a lot of miles they tend to seize and snap. Use some PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench on the bolts first.
