Default balancer/crank pulley

was just puttin on the accessories and stuff on my fresh forged long block, and was wondering about this crank pulley. it has drill holes in it, im assuming the removed material was to balance it or to correct an off balance internally when it was stock.
which is it? and what do i do since the engine was internally balanced at the machine shop.
also, it is a blown application, so there will be another pulley in front on that one, so how would i fit a dampener on? or can i?. WTF

We normally call it a "pulley" for the simple reason that the LSx is internally balanced. Those holes are in fact for balancing just the pulley itself. As for attaching another pulley for a blower, check the FI section. Some serious guru's in there.

Since the Pullies aren't key'd, it would be tough to put one on and balance the motor huh?
