Thats gay just do the free mod by cutting the plastic under air filter you get more air that way than what you are talking about.

i have no pics of it, but a friend of mine did it. it seems to me that it would be pulling in cooler air than with the free ram air mod.

i do know that you would have to relocate the windshield washer fluid container.

You are gay.

This idea has already been done. It is very effective on Camaros. It does deliver more cooler air. I believe the guy cut his airbox like for the free mod, then made a custom plate that attached to the bottom of the airbox. He then ran (2) individual hoses down from the plate & attached them to the backside of the holes in the front bumper.

If I remember right he said it gave him a pretty decent increase for the type of mod it is. Don't get discouraged by douch bags with no knowledge like the guy above. Keep searchin & you will find exactly what your lookin for. I know if I had a Camaro I would do this mod.

yall realize that the free mod causes your AITemps to run high while sitting still? and probably warmer than normal moving slowly.. but once you get going....

It's been done before, but still a pretty cool thing to do if you can pull it off. There are more threads on it, those are just a few.

i also did the "sux2bu"mod on my 98 z.i used a 1/8 steel plate with 2 4 inch pieces of exhaust pipe welded to it.for hose i tried using plastic drainage pipe but wasn't flexible enough so i ended up with dryer hose(the metal stuff).as far as gains my previous best was in 50 degree air.i went to the track last week and ran 3 passes all of them within .050 of my best but in 85 degree air and a da of 2400ft.i would say it is worth at least 2 tenths and 2 mph.good luck man

How is that gay? Im just curious?

I did it to my car, I used two 4" daimeter hoses on each side, hidden behind my billet gril. You have to remove the windshield washer resoviour, and cut holes in the bumper support. You also have to take off the whole front bumper cover. But its worth it, it shoves air down your engines throat.

I always wanted to see the camaro have a big hole instead of 2 and one block in the middle, it'd be more effective. The fog lights can be used for brake cooling.
