Thank you! I was extremely pleased when I got the car up on the rack Saturday afternoon to take a look. I think they tucked up really nicely both in the engine bay and all the way back.

So what did they do to keep the SES light from coming from the 02 sensors being down so far in the exhaust??

That's the vent from the top of the auto trans case.

The hose end is clipped to the torque arm.

Thumbs up

I installed the same Supermaxx system on my WS6, practically fell right in, very easy install, runs great, sounds great, looks great (with stock catback even); I ordered the headers JetHot coated.

Actually fixed low RPM lugging/chugging/pinging in 3rd (A4).

No codes ever came on (I ran CL+MAF for a few days after the install to check for leaks, then continued running OLSD as previously).

One thing though...

Those clamps where you got the bolt ends pointing down, rotate the clamps so the bolt ends point up, that way nothing on road can get snagged.

Very good advice...I'll have that taken care of as soon as I get a chance.

I would recommend paying the few hundred to get it done right and not have any issues with codes or anything.[/QUOTE]
So did you ever find out what they did to not have any issues with the codes or anything. I'd really like to know!

I can't tell you! The install took most of a day, and when I picked up the car, it was finished and running strong. Sorry!

I love my GMMG with KOOKS and catted Y. Cannot beat the sound. If an SES light ever pops up just go get the 02s tuned out

I put mine in with a Magnflow catback and had no codes. Used the stock sensors.

Those look nice! Any problems with the y pipe hitting the floor board or any other annoying rattles/ noises with that header set up?

if they give an issue you just have to tune it. some can get a lean issue, some a o2 code. you just have to go to a shop with tuning hardware or get some yourself. i recommend the latter of the two. nice setup by the way. i want to redo my setup and that look sweet.

The Y does hit my a bit tunnel sometimes, but I didn't put new motor mounts.

It hits in that one place only; the mistake I made was pushing all the plumbing up before tightening the clamps; I should have done the opposite and it would not be hitting.

Ground clearance is fantastic.

So the Magnaflow fits the 2.5" Y-pipe...?
How do the big-assed 3.5" tips look, I was shying away from their "in your face" appearance; do they have 3.0" tips...?
