header and y-pipe q's Well i just got a 01' Camaro 6MT, i have magnaflow catback and lid on the way. while i was under the car today i seen the pancaked y-pipe that can't be that great for performance so next on the list is y-pipe and headers. But im a bit confused , i have emissions testing here in AZ so can i get a LT's with a catted y-pipe that will hook up to headers and catback? or do i have to get mid lengths with catted ypipe?
Also if i get LT's and catted ypipe do i need o2 sims for behind the cats or will it be function with the original o2 sensors?

you can get LT's but get them with AIR, EGR hookups and still be good for emissions, and get the catted Y-pipe they will bolt right up to the headers, you should not need o2 sims if you have cats just use your factory o2 sensors. hope this helps.

You could also skip the sims by just getting a tune and have the guys edit out any codes that could pop up, but for the most part...
