+ 1 for Kooks . I almost went with Pacesetters (great budget headers) just b/c they were $400, but I held out a little longer and got the Kooks from speed engineering with the 7% off/free shipping. The fitment and quality is absolutely top notch and I have no clearance issues. They give great gains, and are flat out awesome LTs. I couldn't be happier. The way I see it is: If your going to do it, do it right the first time and be done with it.

Look at the QTPs on sale right now. Blows any Kook price by far.

I've done every header out there. Kooks all the way.

BTW-living here in the NE all those cheaper ceramic coated headers have rusted within a year.

FLP has been my favorite so far out of SLP, Hooker, and Pacesetter. I just like the drop in fit from above. Might not be the best performing, but they are unique as well as a tad more rare on the F-bodies.

I'm going to go with Kooks just mainly because of their rep and you get what you pay for factor. I'm going to have Jet Hot coat them as well.

QTP and Kooks is basically one in the same. Both are high quality headers. When comes do the decision on QTP or KOOKS it is basically personal preference.

why you getting the Kooks Het-Hot coated?? they are already SS..

Ceramic coating... its to deal with the heat not the finish.

Stainless steel retains heat better than the mild steel. Ceramic coating not necesary on stainless headers.

Did every F-body owner forget about the soon to be released LG Pro Longtube headers ? Not just for Corvettes anymore, soon to be released for F-Body cars as well. Couldn make things a little more interesting.

Sice they havn't been released yet I wouldn't expect a whole lot of feedback from customers on them. Just a thought.
