Default What is your favorite LT, and why??

ok i am looking for a used set of Kooks LTs race headers. (no emissions; no EGR and AIR). but i can not seem to find any.

so here is what i am thinking. holding out for a new set or wait for a used set

or jsut buying a new Pacesetter LTs. btw, what coating is better. Jet-Hot Coated or Cermaic Coated???

I have a set of used Kooks, without EGR or AIR provisions.

They are not for sale though, they are too badass to get rid of!

Save and get the Kooks dude, they are worth the money. They look like musical instruments, but they go "ROOOOAAAARRRR"!

Jet Hot coating is ceramic coating. Used Kooks are hard to comeby and when some do go up for sale they're snatched pretty quick I'd assume. Your call.

Stainless work SS headers! Cheaper than kooks and just as good or even better (fitment). I'm waiting for mine shipped $735.

the fitment is great and have plenty of clearance for my plug wires, I have them ceramic and they look awesome, the install was the easiest I have ever done.

search button and compare. I haven't read/seen any negative comments so far on SW SS LTs but Kooks I've read a few. I also compared the price too.

I have a set of QTP on my car no fitment issues at all. They look bad *** the first some they get some heat to them. Buy the best first time out.

I went with a catted Y. Fitment is great. Really, its the stainless steel that sold me. Even it brand X was a harder install than brand Y, if X was Stainless Steel, I'd get it. I know we've all heard "You get what you pay for." Yeah, Kooks/SW/QTP are expensive compared to Pacesetters. You're paying for the LAST set of headers you will ever need. Bottom line. They won't rust, crack, rot or anything else like *SOME* users have experienced with mild/aluminzed steel headers.

Patience is a virtue. Save your money and get the ones that you want. I've learned from previous endeavors, I felt like I didn't make the right decision in *my specific scenario*, and it ended up costing me more than if I would have done it right the first time. While you can maybe sell the stuff you are replacing, you won't get what you paid. Why **** away money only to replace things later? I wanted stuff I won't ever have to replace, whether it needed to be replaced or I wanted to go a different route. I made sure I planned to route WAY ahead so I purchase all the right things. Doing research was the key factor.

Good luck.
