what angle should my cutout be welded in?

Default what angle should my cutout be welded in?

Hey guys just got my cutout and ready to have it welded in it's an electric cutout my ? is at what angle should it be welded in pointed straight or down a bit I'm confused it's going under the rear passenger seat..

have them put it right where the catback pipe bends up to go over the axel. that way its straight out not at an angle. if your confused of what im talking about im sure theres several pictures on the site of what im talking about. the shop will have to cut a hole in the exahust and probably put a small extension piece on it to make it fit right.

If you put it in the spot where it's meant to be put (under rear passenger seat), then just mount it parallel to the ground where the opening of the cutout points straight out the back. You can go to any cutout manufacturers website and see pictures of them installed on F-bodies.

I tried to make mine so it's a straight shot out the I
when open, and a minimum disturbance to normal
flow when closed (no dog whistle).

Yep, that's where mine is as well. After seeing jimmyblues setup, I pulled mine out of the usual place and moved it to the rear. My ground clearance is better as well.
