Number one primary barely touching K-member.
The number one primary on the passenger side is barely touching the K-member.
I tried to tweek it off of it but it just goes right back. I can move it off of it with a small screw driver.
Should I leave it be? It will probably cause knock retard. How has everyone that this has happened too gone about fixing theirs? I never hear it either.

My Jet-hot headers just barely touched the k-member also. As soon as I started the car the motor vibrations caused the headers to hit the k--member. I just took a dremel tool and clearanced the k-member slightly in order to clear the headers.

Same thing here, I have Jet Hots and the driver side header is physically contacting the K-Member. It does knock on start up but for what it's worth, the header seems to be notching itself into the K-member and I haven't had issues with knock retard.

A good mechanic may be able to heat up and bend the header (had this done to my QTPs) or you could notch the K-member. Most expensive route would be to get the aftermarket K, which is about $500.

Try that first. I had that problem too, on two sets, two different cars. QTP advises the bolt holes are a little larger to compansate for this, so try it first. If not, I suspect grinding in that area won' t hurt. I used my Dremmel and a cutoff wheel to cut a square, and then a carbide bit to shape the opening to fit the primary. It was not that bad. After grinding, I cleaned the area, primed it, and flat blacked it. You should be okay though. That area is boxed, in a way, and I doubt it will effect anything overtime. I would' ve expected better, for the money, but, these cars are built with a high degree of tollerances, so, this kinda' thing should be expected. Every LT seems to have had similar problems, from time-to-time, so don' t get too frustrated.
Good luck.
