Finally ordered my headers today Well, I finally ordered my pacesetter race headers today. Also my electric cutout, msd wires, and strut brace. I am looking forward to putting them on. A friend of mine at work has a lift so hopefully that will make it easier?
dude, a lift will make your life 100 times easier lol. congrats on the headers and make sure get some 02 sims and 02 extensions.

A few questions I do have are: Can I just get a gasket at advance auto, because I hear not to use the pacesetter gaskets. What clamps should I buy or will I even need to buy any. How is the best way to wire the electric cutout.
I just put my first set of headers in, its not hard but takes some time. The hardest part was getting all the old rusted stuff out. The only things I disconnected in the engine bay were the plugs on the driver side, all the wires, and the egr ****. I bought a set of ebay headers, but im pretty sure they are similar to the pacesetters... although ive heard that some people have had to do some cutting and bending for those. I bought gm gaskets from a local auto store, but you can get them at any gm dealer. Good luck
