Default How to delete PS cooler?

I want to remove my power steering cooler from my upper radiator hose and just put a section of hose or pipe in there. What fittings do I need to loop the lines, or what do I do?

Thanks!

well nobody would help me here so ill tell you what i did...

just remove the short hose that come from the botton of the resevior to the pipe. and swing the other hose thats on the pipe to that bottom of the resevior. done
as for the pipe itself, i put caps on it for now but i got a hose from a non cooled model and will put it on on my next flush. makes it alot easier to get to the top of the procharger to fill.

Why would you want to remove your PS cooler?? Seems like a good thing to have to me, especially if you drive on a lot of winding roads...

Do not forget to zip tie the hoses after you get done. My sorry *** mechanic forgot to do that () and the hoses started rubbing against the Procharger pulley.

Couldn't you just buy a hose for a year model car that didn't come with the PS cooler?

I don't drive on twisty roads, I'm on a drag wheel/tire setup 99% of the time anyway.

Thanks for the help!

If you buy a new upper hose without the cooler from the dealer the part number is 10271554, I just bought one myself.

I'm removing the whole pump though so I'm doing things a bit different. I suppose you could also get the right lines for cars without the cooler as well and have it look stock...

That was my thought. You could probably sell that cooler and get some moeny out of it.
