I would have to say LS6 because its not a metal intake and there is less heat soak or you can try a FAST unit

Keep that intake. you can have it ported, but If you are looking to get an intake anyway go with a FAST and sell the LS6.

Use your current LS6. Save your $ for headers or other exhaust work.

According to what Ive read, you could port the stock TB and gain as much as 5-6rwhp(8hp)on a LS6 intake. Or you could spend $1200 and get a 90/90 Fast setup and gain 10-15hp. The Lingenfelder intake is based off the LS1 intake, but is portable. But like "nexvctm2001ss" said, youll have heat soak. If your going for looks, the polished Lingenfelder intake is nice. If you have alot of money to blow, go with the Fast combo. But for the power/ money, stay with your LS6, and port the TB.
Just my .02
Thanks - Ron

thats what i have done, (LS6 / Ported TB), very happy with the top end response i gained.,,and very lil comes out of pocket,,,i though about the Fast set up, but for the money / HP gains,,the LS6 / Ported TB is more bang for the buck
