push the lid back into the tabs more. eventually it will line up perfect and lock on tight. no problems with the fitment on mine

Make sure the front lip on the lid is tucked inside the lower airbox, tons of people have that problem. Do your clips pop off like there's no tomorrow?

make sure the 4 tabs on the top of the lid are in the radiator housing and push inward, when i put the slp lid on my car, i didn't know about those tabs and had a bad fitment issue, . . most likely if it is not fitting its not that the lid was made incorrectly

I push them all the way in the tabs but the clamps will only clamp down on the lid unless the clamps are on the VERY edge of the lid then they always come unclamped after driving it

I have a prob with the rear of my lid staying on at times.

The dyno guy recommended I trim the lid bellow at tad as he said it seems to long and that is what is causing it.

I swapped the air filter from a fram to a K&N, and believe or not it seemed to fix the prob.

if you look at the back clips of your lid you can actually look in and see your filter. SO there is definitely air getting in thruohg there

mine never sealed right either at first. i bought a whisper lid. the clamps would always pop off. so i drilled a screw in each clamp through the bottom of the lid and i never have had a problem since. its actually alot more secure then just the regular clamps.

dont mean to hijack but while we're on the subject: has anyone had any problems with the k&n seeming too small? well, first of all, the bottom of my airbox is cut out, but every once in a while, i'll pop my lid and the filter is hanging down on one side. anyone?

Sounds like you either cut too much out of the airbox or got the wrong filter to me.

Got a K&N in mine and nope it doesn't, it stays in place. I too had some issues when I installed my SLP Lid but just looked and it was just the tabs, had to push them in more and my clamps stay in place too.
