Default Throttle body question

Are the throttle bodys from 98-02 all the same size?

yes but they have different cam lobes from 98-00 and 01-02 for Fbody's. Corvette TB's are same size but use electronic trottle. I believe the truck 6.0 units use a bigger TB.

But there's little point putting a bigger TB onto a stock LS1/6 intake manifold as the inlet hole on the manifold isn't any bigger. Stock ported TB's work well, else look at a 90mm setup such as the FAST 90 intake and NW 90mm TB.

They are the same size, but the guy that ported my TB said that 98 F-bodies (not sure about 99's) have a smaller part where the throttle cable attaches to so it actually allows the TB to open a little faster than the other years.

98-99 fbody and cable operated truck TBs have the same style throttle shaft were the 00-04 TBs are the same style. The vette, later truck are the only DBW 75mm TBs.

That wouldn't matter would it?
