Default 2 chamber flows on true duals??

talkt to a exhaust shop today and was asking about what i wanna do. I told him that i was going to keep my cats and go with H-pipe/single chamber flows dumped before axle. He was like wow thats going to be loud! He said to think about going with the 2 chamber flowmaster. Any of you guys heard this setup? how would this work?

I have never heard the 2 Chambers on a True Dual System. I have the 1 Chambers & it is loud from 1500rpm to about about 50 mph & then it smooths out at 2500 rpms & under & it's really not that loud. But I bet the @ chambers would be more quiet.

Do & tell us how it sounds.

You're not going to fit 2 chambers (40 series) under your car unless you do some serious body modifications (big f'in hammer time). Not saying it couldn't be done, but the kind of work it would take really wouldn't be worth it. If you want duals, you're pretty much stuck with a bullet style muffler (ST's, powerstick, twisters etc), borla xr1 type muffler or 1 chamber flowmaster unless you want to spend some time pounding the **** out of the bottom of your car. There just isn't any room under there for a normal size muffler like a 40 series flowmaster without doing skyjacker lift and some 33" tires......anyone wanna try it?

A friend of mine just did it. He put the mufflers in at an angle so they fit. But they could be seen from the back of the car and looked pretty wonky. So we painted them flat black and that helped, but he doesn't like the sound anyway and they're probably coming out.

Get the 1 chambers. You won't regret it. I love mine. Listen to the sound clips I have on my site. Just click on 1999 in my signature.

I had 1-chambers on my last car. I loved them. Loud, but the perfect Flowmaster sound.

just throw some sweet thunders on there and youll be happy. they are loud but not just loud they sound good to. alot of exhausts are just really loud and sound terrible but you can really beat the STs for loudness and quality of the sound. plus if you go with the H its gonna sound even better.
