Default removed AIR now backfiring! help!!!

I took off all my coil backs and spark plug wires and removed the AIR now i have no block of plates and everything. and when i drive the car it doesnt seem right it back fires bad. i have the air tubes hooked up to the manifold but its just sittin there and just goes up and does connect to anything and i can feel the air coming out of there.

another question does it matter which coil pack goes on which cus they were both idecntical.

You should have removed everything involved with the AIR system. Including the pump. If you did this correctly you shouldn't feel any air. Also with your srock manifolds you will need block off plates.

you need to slap block off plates on there...the reason you are backfiring is because you have an exhaust leak so close to the head

if you cant get the block off plates, cut your tubes and weld up the ends so you dont have a leak. Thats what i had to do to mine, until i get the block off plates in.
