I was under the assumption that is how you want to run them.

unless you want to re-design them completly, they exit the side....or they would be called something else...NASCAR uses them. for street use they would be too loud and obnoxious.

only people I've seen running it are NataSS Inc, another member (can't remember name, has a 396LT4 IIRC, big cam, etc.), and a local guy who had a bolt on LT1 (sounded alright, but complete overkill IMO for what he had :p)

I've heard it running on NataSS's car, it's ****** loud as hell. Sounds awesome on his ORR car, but damn, too loud for me for a daily driver.

Yep, my buddy is the guy from NC has a full 3 1/2" ovalized NASCAR boom tube setup on his car. It's a 387ish solid roller LT1 motor. He can also get boom tubes at his shop(actually has a crap load of them sitting there), so if you wanna try it out, just pm me and i'll get you in contact with him.
