Default Tb

Will a stock 2000 tb fit an 01? I know it might sound like a dumb question, but I need to know. Thanks

You know, that is a good question considering they are different intakes. LS1-LS6, Egr-no Egr. I wouldn't think it would matter though. Anyone know???

no they wont, if the 00 tb is like the 99....it wont, the actual cable slide on the side that opens and closes it...is larger on a 01 then on 98-00....my 99 cable would not close the 01 tb plate all the way, so i have to use my 99 tb instead....i found this out when i first put my ls6 manifold on

the cable should be longer and theres a small black box on the cable length, youll need to pop off the little cap on it and adjust it accordingly.....just know if the throttle plate still wont close then you will have your answer...and the smallest opening in the tb will cause idle to be total crap
