I just put a K&N FIPK on my 02 z28, and I did notice the power on the high end. The Throttle response was a lot better though, and the sound is great. It looks so much better now.

So if a lid is worth 10rwhp and your car puts out a minimum of 280rwhp, you can feel a 1/28th increase in power?

In all honesty, I thought my car felt a lot better after after installing a lid way back when. I ditched the K&N...they suck *** for the 4th Gens.

Ditch the k&n filter and get a paper one,k&n sucks for fitment and flow just my 0.02.

I agree 100%. Between a clean Fram, clean K&N and NO filter there was less than 2rwhp difference on the dyno. The K&N also passed grit that got up to my MAF, so I tossed it.

If you liked the lid's increase in performance, your going to LOVE the headers' increase!! Really big SOTP difference when I got them on, and the sound... oh God the sound

I can't wait to get my car back from the shop. Last time i drove it the clutch slipped, and all it had was a Flowmaster muffler which probably did nothing for performance anyway. When i get it back this weekend it will have an LS7 clutch, Pacesetter LTs, ORY, Cutout, SLP lid and filter, and new plugs and wires. So I hope i notice a little difference...
