if you dump the exhaust under the car, you will get drone. duals that go to out back will make the car a little more enjoyable to daily drive. there is always the 1800 to 2100 rpm "drone" regardless with the duals, but that can be surpressed with a decent muffler-not a glass pack.

I've built over 400 TD systems in the last 5 years using Flo-Pro Twisters 75% of the time. Seen dyno sheets and time slips with just about every muffler option out there - including Magnaflow, Dynomax, and Flo-Pro on my own car. All made about the same amount of power - exactly the same on my car - and ran great at the track.
The only muffler I would be concerned about would be the Sweet Thunders. I don't believe they have a true 3" yet, so you're limited there, plus the 'chamber' style cuts on the insides just look restrictive to me. If someone has tested them head to head with a 'straight through' design and had good results - great. They do sound good - pretty much exactly like Twisters IMO...
For sound and drone, etc.. - just do a search. There's bound to be 100,000 threads on duals and mufflers for them...

thanks, I guess my next question would be, would the tsp true duals with dynomax bullet mufflers be louder than, long tube headers, 3 inch y pipe, and a SLP loudmouth? Thanks for your help.

the drone everybody is fearing is more the dumps. angle them out (45*) and with the muffler, you will be ok. the only bad thing about angling them out is it points to the rear wheels and lower suspension components. if you go WOT a lot, expect to have dirty wheels and suspension components unless you have a really clean tune!

I wouldn't do it to a daily driven car unless you have it extended out to the bumper. I love my duals but I got really tired of them when I had to drive my T/A every day. Just my opinion though.
