Default How to insulate wires next to headers

So it seems that Ive cooked the insulation off some wires that are next to my kooks headers. Im going to be replacing the wires but wanted to know what can I put around the wires that will insulate them from the heat of the headers?

I seem to remember they sell an insulation type material that you can just fold (sticky on the inside) and just have the wires inside and it will insulate the wires from the direct heat.

Any suggestions?

ya man i got some heat wrap that are actually made for spark plugs they were bout 7 inches long. but they are made to take heat well. so when i put my headers on i wrapped them with that which seems to wor. but i had to make a little slit in them so they could wrap around the wires and then i put a lil duct tape to hold it together and so far so good.. knock on wood but you can pick it up at any parts store i got mine at advance for bout $14

Try the non-ultra, the ultra is a little bit too thick to wrap wire in.
