Default quick e-cutout wiring question

Does an e-cutout require an

on-off-on

or

on-off

type of switch?

Mine (McCord) uses an on-off-on (DPDT, center off,
momentary). Don't know about other mfrs' schemes.

I don't have one yet, will most likely be getting a mccord but could end up with a QTP

I have the jimmy jams switch installed for my nitrous setup and it looks like I'll need to replace a switch.
