Just go with the Loudmouth 1, you will thank us. I had it for years on my 94 T/A and damn I never got sick of it.

I have TDs and headers on my car and I love it. Although, I would have to say that when I had headers and stock cat back it sounded the best. It was only a slight bit louder at like 60 mph but you could really only hear it when you mashed it. Not only does it sound good, it is original sounding...unlike the craptacular loudmouth. The only problem I had was the Y-pipe hitting the floor. Don't get a pacesetter y and you should be fine. You should seriously consider this system. This is coming from someone that has to drive his car every day and has actually had experience with this sort of thing. Oh, another reason to consider it...it is really cheap. We don't need another loudmouth POS running around. If you want that sound just go have someone weld straight pipes on your car.

I have a LM 1 in my garage right now if you want it!! I loved the way it sounded on my stock T/A!! When I did cam, LT's, had the heads decked, etc. it was a bit loud!! In fact I park in a parking garage at work and would regularly scare the crap out of co-workers when starting it up. I kind of like that though. The ONLY reason I changed was a very good friend gave me a great deal on a GMMG cat back. Could NOT pass that up. Otherwise I wouldn't have changed it! Let me know if you want it...I'll give you a great deal on it! I'm in Marietta.

If you're going no cats the borla sounds good you can also throw a cutout on the right pipe and completely dampen the sound (in CA the cops are bisshes) I always liked my sound, had flows for 2.2 seconds but changed them quick.

Don't bother with an aftermarket ORY on stock manifolds. You arn't looking to gain much. The best sounding on stock manifolds may be the GMMG, but you will pay for it. I will still recommend the Magnaflow system to anyone that asks.

Yes, magnflow is the way that I am going to go after the TDs. DO NOT GET THE LOUDMOUTH FOR GOD'S SAKE. Everyone has the LM system. It might sound good because you haven't heard anything else but it is crap.

I vote for the loudmouth, cheap and light. If you don't like it put a chambered stick in place of the resonator. Thats what I am planning on with mine to get a little more refinement.

I had the SLP Dual/Dual. It sounded great. Not the best volume, but sounded amazing.

I switched to the LMII. I was impressed at first. It was quietter at idle than I expected. Under load is where it gets noisy. Around 2k and on the highway there's some drone. But it's totally tolerable. Sounds like a muscle car should with a nice aggressive tone. I love it.

I've personally heard borla, corsa, lm1 and 2, hooker, magnaflow and i think an edelbroc catback in person. They all sound Amazing. It really depends on what you like for the price.

I was having a hard time deciding which catback to get. But then I realized it's just a catback, if I don't like it, I'll sell it. So I ordered the LMII for $379 and sure as hell glad I did. To me? it sounds better than the other exhausts I've heard.

I'm sick of seeing "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GET LM" and try to sell you on a $900 catback that sounds barely different. It's an LS1. It's still going to sound like an LS1.

I wouldn't quite say that. Loud when cold. Loud at WOT. Loud inside under part-throttle acceleration around town with the windows up. Quiet at warm idle. Quiet at steady cruising speeds.

how about the TSP Rumbler.. its quieter than the LM1 at idle but screams when you step on it. I love the Rumbler on mine with stock manifolds and cats.

I've heard several cars with GMMG.. honnestly I don't get what all the hype is about. Its not loud compared to an LM or Rumbler and sound wise it just ok.. but everyone wil have opinions on exhaust. I just like really loud. I'll be gutting the cats next.

I think I am going to go with the TSP Rumbler setup...does it have horrible drone to it?

I loved my LMII at start up/idle the first time I started it. Amazing over the stock. It was fairly raspy with drone when I got on it and on the highway but still better than stock.

It wasn't until I added LT's and my Y pipe where it was all-around sweet.

I ditched my LM1 the first chance I got. It was too much with the cam I had at the time.

well I don't plan on long tubes and plan to keep my cats. I want something aggressive sounding without sounds shitty. I figure that the TSP would sound simliar to the LM 2 which I have been told sounds much more tame and refined then the LM1

With the Bassani system, that is a clean great setup. Since the Bassani system is so refined, there will be no smell or drone. You will gain power and tq, but most importantly it will sound awesome with duals, just like an ls1 should sound.
