Custom Header/Steering Column clearence

My car has a custom made header setup. The headers just barely touch the knuckle on the steering column which creates notches while turning as the header/knuckle collide at its widest point. I need to raise the engine about 5mm to stop this from happening. Does anyone make something that would allow me to do this?

You will be better off heating up the header tube and clearance it. If you paid for those custom headers i would go back to the place first and have them redo them.

They were a one off for a power adder done by hi-flo systems i believe. They were done about a year ago i believe for one of the previous owners. The reason i dont want to heat the headers and clearence is that would require me to pull the engine to get to them which is not something i really want to do as the rx7 is takin up all my garage space. The easiest thing to do would be raise the motor about 5 to 8mm
