Default Best Lid Out Now (Search Not Working)

My poor-fitting, 5 year old Direct Flow lid has finally cracked beyond further usefullness. What is the best lid out now (best = good fit/quality + low price).

Thanks,

Steve

apparently all lids flow about the same, and all cost about the same

SLPs lid has the highest quality though, its one of the few parts id actualy buy from them

I have the SLP aftermarket and it's nice. If I were to buy another one or knew then what I know now, I'd get the OEM blackwing lid. You can find them on ebay or possibly through SLP.

I had a SLP, and a Whisper and the whisper had a problem seating right. SLP was perfect. No experience with any others.

I'd have to vouch for the SLP as well...my only complaint is that it is kinda flimsy compared to the granatelli lid I took off. FYI...I got rid of the granatelli since it did not fit well and didn't seal properly.

I have an SLP and my onl problem with it is that it rubs the hood and now there is a silver dollar size rub/smudge mark on it. It looks like **** now. Ima try out an MTI clear lid and see which one I like.

+20 for SLP lid, no problems with mine. If I had to buy another one it would be the clear MTI lid.

I think anyone who has an SS or a WS.6 is gonna run into that problem and heres why I think that. Our air boxes sit higher,.........remember? Think about it,....its about a good inch higher than those found on a Trans-Am, Foumula and a Z.28.

Actually, the SS airbox is no different than the base Z28 and other models. the WS6 is the only one that gets the raised air box
