Low coolant light
Low coolant light Low coolant light stays lit, but I have checked the levels hot and cold, and it does not look low.
Suggestions?
BTW, I just got my gauge cluster back from GMS for recalibration of the speedo. could something have happened in that process? My temp gauge reads higher too. WTF?

i think the sensor might be fucked up, new ones are kinda expensive, so you can either burn it out with like a 9v battery i think, OR you could leave it alone since you said your coolant level is fine AS LONG AS you keep up with the coolant. Or you could buy a new sensor like i did.
and i heard the temp gauge is kind of a dummy gauge on the 98s (maybe all years), so GMS might have actually done you a favor.

`98-`99 are known to have problems with the level sensor, basically they get dirty and begin to always say "low coolant". You can replace it/clean it (it's right near the top on the battery side) and have it come right back later OR you can just unplug it and it'll go away forever. And no unpluging won't hurt anything, `01+ don't even have the damn thing anymore.
