magnaflow instaled today...when does it get louder hello i just had a magnaflow muffler installed on my 02 ws6 ..i had a corsa catback the corsa muffler was puked and had a very anoying rattle all the way up to 2300 rpm(nice welding corsa) only after 3000 miles....and they will only replace to orginal owner with a recipt,witch im 2nd owner no paper trail...the corsa did sound nice besides the loose baffle,i was just wondering if the magnaflow will get louder in time ?? thanks 
ps anyone have a corsa recipt? id still like to swap it out

I hope it starts to sound better because I finally decided on Magnaflow so keep us updated. I was going to go LM but I'm EVENTUALLY going to get headers/ory and I dont need the cops noticing me more than they already do

My bro has Corsa on his SS and a baffle got real loose and was rattling like crazy (unacceptable for a $850 exhaust). We literally reached inside the muffler, felt the loose part and ripped that sucker outta there. No more rattle and the sound stayed bascially the same, only got a little louder. Your not the only other person ive heard this happen to, apparently its a major flaw in design and not a fluke type of thing.
I had Magnaflow on my Trans Am for several years (currently in the prossess of putting on true duals). The only time it got loud was at WOT, other than that its an excellent choice for a tame daily driver sound. Throw on some LT's and then ive heard the sound goes up a notch.

I've had 3 setups on the LT/ORY setup so far, and this is by far my favorite.
Magnaflows have a straight through design, with I believe metal packing inside. Took mine a few hundred miles before it opened up and the true sound came to surface. Figure anywhere between 400-600 miles would be my guess, maybe less if you get on it all the time.
