Default Mufflex??

Whatever happend to these guys?

Don't see or hear about many people running their systems.

Any particular reason? I thought the 4" over axle was pretty neat.

I'm not sure. I think it was either love or hate sort of thing. Plus the price. Also in the FI forum they are not very well recepted. The 4" tubing is a great idea for high HP setups, but from my understanding is the mufflers flowed like crap, so it was really quite a pointless setup.

These aren't my words, it's just what I've rear from others.

I believe they had a Magnaflow muffler option (to replace the Spintech), if you so desired. I would have gone with this (or an XR1 Borla) on their 3" system IF it were available in 304 or 321 stainless. Since this was not offered, I did not (My car is a northeastern 365 day/yr. dailydriver, I MUST HAVE a stainless system on it!!)

Personally I like their systems. A buddy of mine is putting the 4" system with the Flowmaster muffler on his '91 Camaro with a twin turbo 383/6spd.
