those with Flowmaster Collector in Y-Pipe, come in

I've tried searching this, but couldn't come up with much.

does this collector reduce rasp?.. or change the tone at all?

any proven power gains?

If you have the option of using a flowmaster Y, I would definately go with it. We try to use them whenever possible as long as there is enough space.

I've had the QTP Y-pipe with the flowmaster Y, the Kooks Y and Jet Hot Y with just two pipes merged together, and custom Ys with the a flowmaster Y. The Y pipes with the Flowmaster Y definately help to tone down the rasp. They are not a solution to getting rid of rasp, but they definately help get rid of it.

We just finished an exhaust using the Y to split a 4" system to dual 3" pipes which can be see in the link in my sig.
