OK... it really sucks that these aftermarket cats dont hold up...

I been thinking about using OEM cats out of production cars. Some trucks/cars with single exhaust systems have cats that have enough flow for 1/2 of a built exhaust system, why not just find 2 of the same and use that ?

I guarantee that you will not find an OEM cat that can flow anywheres near what an aftermarket metallic cat can flow. Even if you did, it will not be under $100 for the car.

Ceramic cats are known for blowing out, but I have yet to hear of any metallic cats blowing out.

I believe I've sent PMs to everyone that wanted pricing. If you didn't receive a PM, let me know.

The factory designs cats to meet emission standards, not for high flow capabilities. And once your start adding mods to your car, there is no way that a factory style cat will flow enough without being a hindrance.

PM sent with pricing.

Yep, those are the ones Oxidizr posted about (and what I'm running in my custom setup).

Best cats on the market IMHO !

Yep, I bought the 2 3/4" version for my custom exhaust system. I wish I had known the price from Eads. I paid $115.00 each for mine and the only saving grace was the free shipping. That is the best deal I have seen on them.
