I been thinking about using OEM cats out of production cars. Some trucks/cars with single exhaust systems have cats that have enough flow for 1/2 of a built exhaust system, why not just find 2 of the same and use that ?

Ceramic cats are known for blowing out, but I have yet to hear of any metallic cats blowing out.

Yep, those are the ones Oxidizr posted about (and what I'm running in my custom setup).
Best cats on the market IMHO !![Driving](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_driving3.gif)

Yep, I bought the 2 3/4" version for my custom exhaust system. I wish I had known the price from Eads. I paid $115.00 each for mine and the only saving grace was the free shipping.
That is the best deal I have seen on them.
