CarSound and Magnaflow are the same company...

I am running the new Magnaflow 2.5" high flow stainless metallic core cats.

I also had 3" Carsound cats on a previous setup and they worked well too.

I had the 3" Magnaflow/Carsound's on my true duals (link in sig, 3rd page for pics of them). They didn't slow me down at all and worked great for 6 months untill I sold the duals.

Look for the new spun-body metallic substrate Magnaflow cats. More flow and higher durability.

I have a pair of Magnaflow's new spun body metallic cats on the 02 Camaro in my sig, lost next to no power, and they cleaned up the rasp, and the car seems to run much smoother in the lower rpm range than before.

We also have a pair on the shop Trailblazer SS.

Part number 59929. They are priced pretty cheaply too, you can't go wrong.

59929 and 59959 are both 3" in/out.

The 59929 are 11" overall length and flow about 20 to 30 cfm more than the 59959 which are 7.75" overall length.

Go for the new Metallic spun Magnaflows and not their universal ceramic style cheapies. The ceramics came with my QTP Y and I just blew one out the other night at the track. They're crap for a hi performance application. I need to decide now if I want to go back to an ORY or buy $200 worth of new metallic cats?
