Off road Y pipe for Ebay headers
thanks for posting that up. it wasnt the best sound clip and he didn't even have the system fully installed yet, but it did sound throaty. i cant wait until he has it fully installed and revs it a bit.
looking forward to installing those on my gmmg, however I'm getting a custom y-pipe fabbed, don't like the jethot and it'll cost me the same in labor/parts for a fab than it would for the jet hot anyway :o

the parts are costing me maybe 65 bucks (3 45* elbows, 1 magnaflow 3" x 3" smooth transition Y, some straps... all I need is the welding done really.

one thing I'm taking into consideration with having my Y fabbed is that eventually I'll have to add cats, so taking into consideration the length and size of the offset or regular 3" magnaflow spun metallic cats... shouldn't be that hard overall I hope

I usually notice the average LS1 Fbod guy is similar to me. Built, 6 foot or taller, Shorter hair, stern(ish) face.

Damn, I sound pretty shallow/stereotypical.
I just put my ssautochrome (ebay) headers on today. It was not 1/2 as bad of an intstall as I thought it would be. This was my first f-body header install and with basic hand tools and some common sense they were up and running in about 4 1/2 hours without any help. Tomorrow I will be making a custom catted Y. I wll get some pics up when im done.
