Take the cats off your car and remove the ceramic honycomb like material from the inside. Then you will have gutted cats.

Not much more. But depending on what type of cats, it could make your exhaust sound wierd, mine did.

yeah when i did my buddies i just took a screw drive and broke it all up and then i turned on his car and gave it a lil gave it a lil gas and it all shot out... man did it sound nice with the exhaust off.

Just do what my buddy did. Get an ORY, cut the outsides off cats and weld onto outside of y pipe. Looks like cats, performs otherwise.
