how restrictive is this Im putting down 425 rwhp and 400 torque and ive got qtp long tubes and catted y and hooker exaust how much could i potialy gain if i ither went with say true duals or just a cut out or even get a rid of the cats?
not much... you will get more with either a cut-out or duals
it's all about free flowing exhaust and increasing scavaging
you'd probably see anywhere from 1~10+rwhp increase with a cutout or duals

IMO, you're not losing enough to really worry about it. The gains you get are going to be so minimal, you'll never feel it, but your wallet will.... and at BEST you may see a .1 gain at the track.. but that's a big IF. I'm running a big compression 402, et 240 heads, big cam, fast 90/90 setup, and I'm still running old non HVMC qtp 1 3/4 headers, a catted qtp Y and a LM.... it's only coming off because everyone around the car thinks the world is ending when I get on it, start it, anything really.
