Up-grade to the LS1 Silverado
Up-grade to the LS1 Silverado Hi Gang,
Well, I finally did this past week by purchasing an '04 Southern Confort Vindicator SS Silverado(w/ 36,531 miles on it), repl. my '91 Silverado Z71 350TBI. Now, I'd like to see about up-grading the air into intake. The exhaust has already been up-graded to duals.
So, what have you guys/gals find that works will w/ the 5.3L LS1(?)???

I put a Volant CAI in my 02 5.3L. I mainly went with that because I wanted something that had an actual airbox since I wheel in the sand hauling the quads onto the dunes. It helped it breathe a little better, about the equivalent to a filter and lid on a LS1. Magnaflow cat-back helped quite a bit also and made it sound 10 times better (but I see you already have exhaust).
