theres several guys on here that do really good jobs...bo for one, but im not sure if he really likes to do them anymore, and it really depends on what you want....to get it chromed out, etc...youll pay more....i do them for mostly guys around here for about 65$, and i never have had a complaint with the lips, blades, or intakes....but i dont do the outsides other then just clean it up a bit...just do some shopping

with new era, how long did it take you to get your tb back? cause my car is my daily driver, and if there's no core exchange i cant use my car until mine gets back. also, are you SURE they did the bump stop mod for you? cause it would be really easy for them to say they will do it and just not follow through.

It should, thats why I put so much time on the dyno with my designs. All the top porters on the country is about the same, some do this, some do that....in the end you have a TB thats done right, doesnt matter who its from. Filling the TB does nothing on the dyno....nothing.
BTW, thanx everyone . Maybe one day I can get things rolling on a comeback tour.

It took a week. My car is my daily driver. But i just bummed rides until the TB came back. Yes they did do the Bump stop mod. You can see where they grinded the stop down.

How about the knife edge blade thing? Does it really do that much? I wouldn't think it would be worth 2x the price going from the ERA one to the other one. (like $75 up to $150). How much of a difference would that make?

Oh, and qwikz28, what do you mean you would have had them do your LS6 intake too? Do you mean port it? If you did, (or even if you didn't) how much improvement do you see from that?

I did my research and got the best. I still have another one sitting in my garage. that 1-3 hp here and there can really add up. The lsx community needs a comback tour.

I got the Texas Speed one. I saw no gains on the dyno. I have heard good things about the Bo White one.

Bo did mine. I didn't see anything at the track, but throttle response around town is noticeably improved. Love it.

I'll port it for you. It's easy bro just as long as you have a rotary tool and some sandpaper.

I just bought my 98 T/A and the guy I bought it from gave me a ported TB to go with it. However, i'm not sure what diameter it was ported to, and I don't know who ported it. I do know that he didn't do it himself. Is it safe to put it on and see how it does? Also, can I run a ported TB with my SLP MAF and stock tuning? Or do I need a tune and to go back to the stock MAF(Which he also gave me)?
