Best ported throttle body?
For those who are wanting to port TB's on their daily driver, I also recommend DIY. There are plenty of good write-ups around, and I was able to do my own in two evenings without air tools. I used cutters and stones in a 3/8 drill and a dremel, did the finish sanding by hand. I enlarged the opening and blended it down to the size of the throttle blade, knife edged the blade and sanded off the pattern on the blade (for looks). I hand sanded the inside with 220 and 600 grit paper, and then did the ground down the throttle stop. If you have access to a compressor and a die grinder, I'm sure you can get it all done in a few hours.
I have done it myself before on my previous '99 TA
Epoxy over the hole, polished it up, etc.
I'm just liking some of these a ton...mine came out pretty damn good, but some of these still look better

thanx again Bo The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I missed the question in the second part of your post. I have an SLP MAF too, but mine's in a box. It seemed allow too much advance and caused my car to spark knock. I've heard good and bad about them. If your car is lightly modded, I assume it would be just fine. The SLP MAF tweaks the signal sent back to your PCM though, and if you are making enough power (i.e. - have made enough changes to your car) you will need to tune, as it's calibration will be off.
