for $350 thats very nice..

i can see a potential issue with a warmed up aluminum intake i.e. driving to the track and immediately going racing. i think the airflow through the intake should keep it relativly cool however.

i made 3 passes within an hour and i drove the car to and from the track. i have driven the car all over town and it never feels any different. seriously think about how fast air is moving through the intake especially at wot. this heat soak stuff is bull. even on the dyno there was no issues with heat soak.

heat soak is real.just stay on the tree long enough and i think you would waste the first 1/8 mile on getting the air flow halfway cool. if its a decent matchup, you just lost.

Heatsoak is more of a issue on a wet flow manifold. ie a carbed or TBI setup.

Mayb a dumb thought but i dont think ALUMINUM holds heat for that long... so what if your at the track and gotta throw a bag of ice on it between rounds... then it will go faster because its COLDER.... kidding but seriously on a nitrous car.... METAL intakes > Plastic ones and i would take a little heat soak bc my nitrous is gonna fix that problem pretty quick and i am ordering the Typhoon intake as we speak... fuel rails and all hardware $400 cant beat it and PROVEN to outflow the ls6 above 2700k rpms... not by much until about 6500 but its there and big cam guys go way over 6500
