I would go with Subframe Conectors or just get the cash and put it towards something aint a whole lota things for under 300 bux, theirs always a pulley. And as far as the programmer goes its all in how good the tuner is using it, some of them actaully can help alot if you know what your doing

street car msotly. needs to apss NC emsissions. I will start on suspension after ig et ehaders and a tune though for sure, or well after that and ls6 intake

Just try some more to convince him to get you some headers, usually you got to talk to parents alot about something before they will say ok. why doesnt he want you to get them, does he think your gonna street race or somethin.

get the money ..buy the headers ....and baiscally tell your dad to **** off ...but dont literaly say it your might have to deal with the gun incodent again

I drove last year in snow and salt with hooker LT's uncoated, and there is a tiny teeny bit of surface rust. No reason to be scared of them, cheaper and do the same job. Except maybe 10 years they will be rust. Who knows.

Anyway....why not try to pick up a used LS6 intake for $300.
If not....subframes, LCA's, relocation brackets, Torque arm, Adj. panhard rod....there are a bunch of options available!
