EGR Questions?
EGR Questions? I am shopping for some LT headers my car is a 98 SS. I am going to get a LS6 intake and ported TB also. I want to get rid of my EGR. How is this done and how do I pass Emissions ? I am terrible with this EGR crap
LS6 intakes dont have EGR period. remove the EGR thing on the passenger side of the motor. its that black hose comming off the intake and into that canister like thing. you need a block off plate to take it off the headers or else youre gonna have exhaust gases in your engine bay. block off plates are sold by speed inc and are like 6 bucks. A tune WILL be needed to remove emissions codes, and with no codes being thrown you will therefore pass emissions. unless of course you live in an **** state and they dont have anything better to do and look for the EGR
