Default for guys with husky catch can

hey, this questions is for guys using the home depot husky catch can (the smaller one for $12). how do you drain the oil once it fills up? i know there's that little drain pin at the bottom of the glass tube, but that seems like it would be a bit tricky and messy to drain. does the entire glass unit untwist from the upper platic part somehow to allow for easier dumping?

The clear thing screws off. Don't you read directions?
