i need something to quiet my ass down!
i need something to quiet my *** down! hey guys, i just bought a 383 stroker LT1 today and it is REALLY loud! it only has shorty headers tho! and an SLP loudmouth, exhaust wise. is there any way i can get something to quiet this thing down so i dont get pulled over and harassed by The Man? the guy im buying it from said his friend had a supercharged WS6 and he was able to put something in his tailpipe that he got from the Summit catalog that quieted him down a lot. does anyone know what that is or anythign else i can do to quiet myself down? Thanks
puttting a rear muffler on it...seems common sense to me. I'm putting a flowmaster 1 chamber on my tsp rumbler tomorrow to kill rasp. I would jsut buy a hooker muffler and have them weld it to the pipe after it goes over the axle.

Add cats to the car if it doesnt already have them, and swap out the SLP resonator for a Borla XR-1 #40085 muffler. Not only will it quiet it down, it will be much much more deeper of an exhaust note. Every person I've sold the XR-1 to as a SLP replacement has absolutely loved it.
