My vote is for SSRA. Apparently Forced Induction is the winner so far.

I think a better design would have been to create some kind of locking mechanism to hold the lower scoop to the upper scoop where they meet. A slightly different mold and a few peices of elastic could achieve this. Then, there's no more screws in the bumper with little added cost.

Pay attention to this man, this ****** ram air **** damn near cost me my motor. I met a truck and it shoved about a gallon of water up into my intake. FWIW I was in about 4 inches of water.

I dont kno how, but I found out about the BGRA, I made a post, people told me they werent made anymore, and then low and behold, a guy posted saying he had one he'd sell me. Cost me $160 for a couple pieces of used plastic and an fairly decent gasket (has lasted me 5 months and is now going bad) and all I have to say is IT IS WORTH IT!

If you take the time to look for one while youre looking for a RA hood, then Im sure one will come up. And for the rain, it comes with or you can buy one still, a rain plate that pops in perfectly for the kit and there isnt a problem with water.

SSRA comes with a piece of rubber/insulation to block the normal front intake path of the stock lower air box (that tiny rectangular front opening). You can leave it out if you are afraid of hydro-lock.

You realize you could do both, right?

Get the SSRA, and if you happen to come across a BGRA and really want it as well, then there ya go.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable going with SSRA, but that's on you.
