Default SLP IAT module?

I saw this advertised on slp's website

i'm not really sure what it does or how it can gain you 5 hp. does anyone have any info about this, or have used this themselves?

I wouldn't worry about it...you won't really see much if anything. The PCM has tables in it to either add fueling or pull timing should the IATs get too high for safety reasons (to keep knock at bay). This module just tells the PCM that the IAT is a low enough value to keep it from adding fuel or pulling timing. That's all it is...nothing more, nothing less.

Your not gonna have hardly any change with that module. Anything that people tell you they feel is all in their head. That thing is a rookie mistake if you ask me. Do your free mods first then hit the bigger bolt ons if you are hunting power.

It's a waste of money. If you really want to do it, go buy a 4.7k ohm, 1/2 watt resistor for $0.99 and follow the directions in the link below.
