The elements are different on them and you can still use them for the front. They are supposed to heat up faster and not throw codes. Thats what im using for my fronts and alot of the people here as well.

+3 on the Boschs. Have had mine in my Kooks for 4 months and no probs.

I went into the auto parts store, told them I needed 2 oxygen sensors. He is about the jump on the computer and he asks "What year is your car?". I'm like "I already know what I need. Bosch #13111s. I see them right there on the shelf behind you." You tell them you drive a Firebird and let them punch that **** in a puter and they'll steer your *** wrong. Don't even say nothing about a Corvette either. Just tell him the part # and split. I know a LOT of people have stories about parts counter guys that have no idea what the **** is going on.

Case in point...dude behind the counter proceeded to tell me I needed to gap my TR55's at .044 because the computer said so. I look him dead in the eye and say, "Do you think it's possible the guy [dumbass] who entered the description for this part in your computer hit '.044' instead of '.055'?" Without a second's hesitation, he replied, "Nope." I then proceed to pull one of the plugs out of the box, grab the little gap checker they sell, and show him they're gapped at .055. Still not good enough. "They're not pre-gapped...that's just coincedence." I mention the 16,000 other people running these plugs (pulled that # out of thin air - I know) gapped at .055 and got, "Hey buddy...it's your car. This plug gapped in a Ford might be .054 and the same plug in your car is .044." Rather than argue, I shook my head, paid for the parts and tried to contain my irritation on the way out of the store.

In most instances you are correct. I guess I'm one of the few knowledgable people that are an exception to the the rule. I've worked part time at Advance Auto Parts for about 6 years now and I must say that I've seen my fair share "unknowledgeable employees" that have worked in the store with me. An assistant manager that works in there now couldn't find a part in 10 minutes to save his life. I've called the store and asked for stuff like muffler bearings, a radiator cap for a volkswagon beatle, distributor cap for a diesel truck, and he looks for it.....
