Default ORY vs Legal Y

Im geting ready to buy headers and cant decide on y pipe. I had the off road version on my LT1 and got tired of the exhaust smell saturating my clothes. The cat pipe is more but by the time I buy the O2 sims and extensions its not that much more for the cats. Also the headers come emissions or not? I am sure Ill get Pace Setter coated but thats about all I know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would just buy the pacesetters and the ORY. And if you dont like it you can find some cheap high flow cats to get welded in. I will be buying the Pacesetters and ORY soon

The y pipe with cats isn't actually legal since you moved the position of the cats from stock and I'm sure that the headers are not carb exempted either. My advice is to go with the ORY. That way you don't have to worry about potentially clogged cats down the road.
