Default Rocker arm ratio

I've been told that my wot misfiring and backfiring may be caused by loose rocker arms. Is it common on head and cam cars to have to remove the valve covers and tighten later after installation? If I have to remove the covers, would it be worth while to install new rocker arms with a different ratio? What is stock ratio and what would be best with my Lunati 218/221 cam?

Default Tune up

Installed new wires and plugs about 4000 miles ago. I don't think that it is a firing problem. I had a bad plug once and the car missed and backfired at every speed and throttle position.
