TD question
Do not waste ur money on any hand held tuners. They are only good for a couple of things like changing gear ratio's and tire sizes. Ls1 edit and Hp tuners are the most popular tuning software programs. Usually the people tuning your car have the programs, not worth you to buy those programs they can get extremely expensive. Unless you plan on tuning your car every weekend for the track. At the shops they can delete codes, adjust anything you need. I used to have a Hypertech programer and it was prolly the biggest waste of money for the car. I would spend the $400 at a speed shop for a real tune.

thanks...what is a "lanes TD"? and again the ultimate question...Sweet thunders or dynomax bullets? I know the bullets are louder, but will they drone and rasp...same for the STs? As you can see from my sig, on my old car I had the LM1 with LTs and an ORY, it actually wasn't that raspy, I thought it sounded good, but then again, soundwise, it seems like the LT1 was definitely different...I don't want the LM1 for the LS1, so I was going with TDs because i figure they would be louder than the LM1...thanks
Lane is the guy who built my True Duals. Thats what the TD stands for. He kind of pioneered the way on true duals for F-bodys. My roomate has the Bullets and it is really loud. The sweet thunders are nice. My other friend has them on his Z28 and they sound really nice. It kind of sounds a little more old school. Niether of them are raspy at all. And there is hardly any drone. They are just loud because of being right under the car. I have the twister mufflers, and they are my favorite. They sound good but arent crazy loud. If you have a question that has an answer and isn't going to be 100% opinion based ask it, if you can't already find the answer. But after you have responded 4 times consecutively without anyone else responding it might be a clue that no one has anything to add, or you need to be more specifc in order to get your answer.

btw i am paranoid because my parents freaked out after my first camaro didn't pass, which, besides the cost to make it pass and need for a 4x4, was one of the reasons I had to sell it, so I just need to be sure...
